This mask is based on the grill of an old campfire cooking basket. Its eyes are aluminum jello molds. It is strung with wooden colored beads, aluminum sheeting and found objects. The box's basis is a collage of varnished newspaper clippings printed upon with antique woodblock type. The central figure is flanked by two smaller figures whose heads are made of sculpted Fimo. Other materials include brass rod, wooden beads and painted wood. The inner and outer surfaces have been illustrated with a wood burning tool and varnished (inset photo).

Basic construction of the central figure is shaped plywood, tinted with paint and colored pencil. This figure is comprised really of two figures - the larger of which is a mask, the smaller uses parts of this mask to form its arms and legs. Other materials are carpet and upholstery tacs, hardware cloth, metal discs and turned wooden globes. The small figure in the foreground is a painted babydoll - the "child." The finials were gleaned from a dumpster, a discarded curtain rod. The rods upon which they are mounted run through the vertical axis of the box. (Add 3" to the height including finials on top.)
